Pick your session length and rep count. Sweatronome divides the time evenly and beeps every rep, so progressing is a single +1.
Sweatronome is a burpee timer for Android and iPhone that carves every rep from one fixed session length.
Yesterday was 160 burpees in 20 minutes. Today change 160 to 161; each rep shrinks to 7.45 seconds and you never open a calculator.
Burpees come first, but the work around them fits too: dead hangs, planks and wall sits get a fixed hold each rep with the rest worked out for you, and push-ups or squats pace like burpees.
Legs heavy? Pick 90, 80, 70 or 50% before you start. 161 burpees at 80% becomes 129, each rep stretches to 9.3 seconds, and you still train the full 20 minutes.
Chain 10 minutes of 6-count burpees, a 5-minute stretch, another 10 minutes of burpees and your pull-ups into one workout. Sweatronome runs them back to back, each on its own clock, 30 minutes start to finish.
Set a weekly goal and every finished workout counts toward it. Hit four by Sunday and your streak grows another week, kept on your phone like everything else.
The beep stays on the beat to the last rep and the session ends exactly on 20:00. Then it asks how it felt: one tap on Add rep and tomorrow is 162 reps in the same time.
